Comedy of errors :
A man checked into a hotel. There was a computer in his room, so he decided to send a mail to his wife. he accidentally typed d wrong email address, and without realizing he sent the mail to a widow who has just returned from her husband's funeral. The widow decided to check her mail, expecting condolence messages from relatives and friends. After reading d first message she fainted. The son rushed into d room, found his mother on the floor and saw d computer screen which read:
'to my loving wife, i knw u are surprised to hear from me, they hv computers here and we are allowed to send mails to loved ones. I 've just been checked in. How are u and d kids, d place is realy nice but am lonely here. I hv made necessary arrangement 4 ur arrival 2morrow. Expecting u darling. I can't wait to see u.

brother were sleeping in the same room. Late night he got up to vomit. His brother said he held his hand to his mouth and went to the bathroom.
After vomiting, he complained of difficulty in breathing. Later died.
..... Now it has been declared by Doctor that he held on to his vomit till he reached the toilet in order to not to spoil the bed or carpet, and that's what choked him. The vomit went straight into his wind pipe & the breathing tract.
..... So, we should let kids puke wherever they want, and then go to the bathroom. We should never force them to hold on to their vomit till they reach the bathroom. The carpet can always be washed, but we cannot get a child back.
... It's informative and It may save a life.

Raising tomorrows leaders (18 Tips)
1. Praise your child, even if they get 4/10 in exam, praise your child in front of others.
2. Never make your child feel that he is useless. Never favour one child on the other.
3. Every time we speak with our children speak with respect, say "thank you", etc. Don't use slang i.e gimmi instead say 'please give me'; use clear words, be polite and never swear. (Prophet said, do not use slang as it will decrease your respect).
4. You need to bare in mind when your child is young that this is just a child, don't take away there playing time by treating them like an adult. If we do this, they will rebel in life.
5. We need to assist our children to make decisions. He or she must be taught to make decisions. Acknowledge them, guide them by talking to them, if they want to go for something, organize the plan for them.
6. Whenever you have decisions to be made ask your child of his or her opinion. For example, if you are going to buy a car, ask there opinion, where they like to eat, or what colour they like for a car, this develops habit of consultancy in them.
7. Depending on the house we are living in, we would perhaps have a corner; write the name of the child there, as it be there territory. Put there certificates on wall; this makes them confident of themselves.
8. Teach your child to follow you to read salah. Lead them rather than instructing, it's a more powerful way. What your child sees you doing they will remember forever. Start instructing them to read salah at the age of 7, this will help them and make it easy for them to follow when they reach puberty when it becomes compulsory on them.
9. We need to teach our children how to put forward their opinion, how you would disagree to a point. Don't use swear words when you disagree on anything as this will inculcate in your child as he is watching you being aggressive. Children have much more grasping power than us and they pick up things very fast.
10. Encourage your child to ask question, and try to answer each question they ask else they will get it from a wrong source. Praise there questions at times.
11. Always fulfill your promises on to you children. Do not make big promises which you cannot fulfill; this makes them develop a habit of making false promises. If you fail to fulfill any promise, explain.
12. Very important to teach our child is how to develop skills of being a member of a group. Team work is very important; this teaches them to give chances to people in life rather always competing.
13. Make dua for your children. Even if they have gone astray, pray for them.
14. Tell them you might fail once, but never lose hope. Teach them how they should react to a failure.
15. Apologize to your child if you have made a mistake, this teaches your child to repent to Allah. Don't rise ifs and buts when you are wrong; there are no ifs and buts when it comes to repentance.
16. Have a few surprises for your children, to praise there deed of good, give them recognition at home, that this surprise is for your so and so good you did.
17.We need to make sure that we train our children to read a portion of Quran daily, according to there capacity.
18. Tell your child repeatedly that you love them, tell them how gorgeous they are and how important they are to you, hug them, its a sunnah to kiss your children.

EVERYONE HAS A STORY
A 24-year old boy looking out through a train's window shouted, Dad, look, "the trees are going behind; they are moving very fast" his Dad simply stared at him with so much joy and smiled!
A young couple seated nearby looked at the 24-year old and thought to themselves, he's so grown up but so childish, he must have a mental disorder for his father not to be bothered.
Suddenly the young man exclaimed again; Dad, look, "the clouds are running with us" the couple could not resist and said to the old man, why don't you take your son to a good doctor may be a psychiatrist? The old man smiled and said I just did. We are just coming from a doctor but not a psychiatrist ; we are just coming from the hospital. My son was blind from birth. He just got his sight today for the very first time, his behavior may seem stupid to you, it's more than a miracle to me. The young couple just sat down there, lost for words with a mixture of tears and shame in their eyes.....

WHEN WE ARE OLD, WHOM DO WE DEPEND ON?
Ourselves, ourselves, only ourselves...(The truth, as disclosed by a group of old folks).
"Have your own abode. No matter what, do not lose it, until your death!
If you have an old companion, keep each other company.
Watch your health while it is still good. Maintain a positive outlook and you will be happy.
Now, our health is still good, our mind still clear. But on whom can we depend in our old age? We will have to analyse in various stages.
1st Stage:
Just after retirement, between 60 to 70 years old, our health will still be comparatively good. So too is our financial means.
Eat moderately while we have the means. At times, wear what we fancy. Those who like it, have some fun.
Do not be hard on yourself. Our days are numbered. So grasp the opportunity.
Have some savings (Remember Money Power)!
Keep the house!
Make arrangements for the days ahead or retreat.
If the kids are well off, it is their business. If the kids are filial, they have good traits.
We need neither decline financial help from our kids nor decline their respect. But we should remain independent and live our own life well.
2nd Stage:
If no mishap and illness strike after we are 70, we will still be able to take care of ourselves. Not a major problem.
However, we must realise we are really getting old. Gradually, our body and mind will give way.
Our reflex will slow down with time. We will have to eat slowly to avoid choking. We will have to walk slowly to avoid falls.
We can no longer put on a front, we have to look after ourselves! Do not meddle anymore with this and that or control the kids!
Some even interfere with the third generation!!!
We have intervened our entire life. It is time for us to be a little selfish...
Take hold of ourselves. Life must come full circle.
Help with the cleaning chores...
Try to maintain our health for as long as possible.
Give ourselves more opportunities to take control of our own life...
We lead an easier life when we do not have to solicit help from others...
3rd Stage:
Our health begins to fail...
We have to request help from others...
We have to be mentally prepared for it.
The majority of us cannot escape this hurdle.
We have to prepare ourselves emotionally to accept that:-
In life, living and aging, sickness and death are milestones we have to encounter.
This is the final stage in life...
Nothing to fear!
Be prepared for it in advance and we will not be too depressed.
Either check into a private nursing home...
Or an old folks home...
Depending on affordability, off course.
There must be a way out...
The idea is not to add to the kids' burden, emotionally, increase their chores and their financial commitments.
Try our best to overcome -
What hardship has our generation not endured?
What disasters have we not experienced?
Trust us to take life's last lap in our stride.

Our mind is still clear but we are terminally ill.
When our quality of life has deteriorated drastically...
We must be courageous enough to face death!
Insist that the family not try to prolong our life...
Do not incur unnecessary expenditure...
When we are old, whom do we depend:-
Ourselves, Ourselves, only Ourselves
We all die eventually, so be ready to go peacefully.
